CHINEDU AKACHI EKWUNIFE
1985-2020
Our beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend Chinedu passed away on the 14th of June after 2.5 months in an intensive care unit (ICU) battling the novel COVID-19 virus at Ipswich Hospital, UK.
Chinedu was a great fighter and did everything possible to stay alive for his young family. The medical staff at Ipswich Hospital did all they could and were rooting for him, but God had his own plans for him.
We are grateful for a life well spent and for being such a loving and caring husband to Lotachi and father to Chimamanda and the unborn child.
Chinedu's last message before entering the ICU:
"God's will whatever happens, I don't mind"
"I'm hoping for the best though"
"I'm not scared"
